A Hollis man is expected to plead guilty to hiding evidence and concocting an alibi for two charged with killing a Mont Vernon mother during an October home invasion. Twenty-year-old Autumn Savoy has agreed to plead guilty Friday to hindering prosecution and conspiracy in exchange for a recommended sentence of 8-1/2 to 19 years. Savoy has agreed to testify for the state.

One of five New Hampshire men charged in a fatal machete attack on a woman at her home is expected in court. Eighteen-year-old William Marks of Amherst originally was charged with burglary and armed robbery in the Oct. 4 death of Kimberly Cates of Mont Vernon and the attack on her daughter. He's since been indicted on a first-degree murder charge.

Steven Spader, 18, and Christopher Gribble, 20, both of Brookline, will instead enter pleas of "not guilty" in writing to first-degree murder and other charges in the Oct. 4 machete and knife attack on Kimberly Cates and her 11-year-old daughter, Jaimie Cates, lawyers said. The girl survived the attack.

One of the four people charged in the killing of a Mont Vernon, N.H., woman has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in exchange for a plea deal. Court paperwork released Thursday shows that Quinn Glover plans to plead guilty to robbery, burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. Prosecutors will recommend a minimum of 20 years in prison.
